
I saw a shirt today that said “Strength is never a weakness” and I had to sort of disagree.
We consistently look to our strengths and train and put so much emphasis on our strengths that just that can cause our weaknesses to be overlooked. So in that case our strength is exacerbating the weakness.
In order for us to get better we need to do a few things…
RECOGNIZE that we have a weakness…
ACCEPT & UNDERSTAND the weakness… we can never understand it if we choose to not accept it, and we can never accept it if we don’t try to understand why we have it.
DEVELOP A PLAN… once we recognize, understand and accept the weakness we can begin to develop a plan of action to mitigate it. This plan must be systematic, progressive, and be done with INTENT!
TURN THE WEAKNESS INTO A STRENGTH… now that we have developed a plan, stay consistent, check things off every day, constantly strive to complete the plan,
RINSE AND REPEAT!!
